About Us

Girl Expo Canada was started by a mom whose daughters kept her searching for new opportunities as they participated in sports, searched for clothing that reflected their diverse interests, and sought out books with strong female heroines. Each request became a challenge for this mom who realized that girls needed more opportunities to discover and uncover their talents and passions. And what better way than an expo for girls with ideas and opportunities presented under one roof?!
